Cure For Lower Back Pain

In part one, we discussed how back pain is an epidemic with seemingly no end in sight. And that despite huge investments in research, there seems to be blockages to a cure for lower back pain. We suggested chief among theses reasons was medical physicians unwillingness to change.

Lower back pain can be caused by many things. A few of these include; automobile injury to the back, a tensed muscle, a pinched sciatic nerve which results due to the inflammation of surrounding muscles, menstrual cramps, fibroid tumors, endometriosis, osteoporosis or osteoarthritis, excess weight, lack of exercise, infections, slipped discs, smoking, and so on.

On most first visits chiropractors will give the patient their first chiropractic adjustment or manipulation. The manipulation will be the first of many for those undergoing treatment for back pain. Chiropractic adjustments reduce subluxation. After the adjustment patients should experience increased range of motion and a reduction in nerve pain.

One of the simplest cures for your lower back pain may be weight loss with diet and exercise. Sometimes carrying around excess weight can lead to pain in the lower back. Eating right and exercising right can be a huge help. Eating a healthy diet can help you to take off some pounds.
